Congratulations to the 2009 Award Recipients!

On November 11th, the 10 Social Innovation Fast Pitch finalists told their stories to an audience of 400 people.  Everyone did a tremendous job, and WOWed the audience and judges!  We are pleased to announce this year's award winners:

 Social entrepreneurs compete for up to $20,000 in grants

  • Two month mentoring program for some of LA’s most innovative non-profits!
  • Culminates with a “fast pitch” competition and showcase, which includes featured speaker Andy Rappaport and a networking reception with the participating nonprofits, entrepreneurs, investors and other business and nonprofit leaders. See program details here.

Los Angeles Social Venture Partners

LASVP is a nonprofit venture philanthropy organization that supports innovative nonprofits in Los Angeles. We utilize the collective expertise, resources, and networks of our members to collaborate with nonprofits and build their capacity to address major needs in our local communities. (www.lasvp.org)

University of Southern California

University of Southern California is collaborating with LASVP and SEI on the Social Innovation Fast Pitch. Social Enterprise Institute
